Eligibility criteria:
Competent Authority Pathway requirements:
- Primary medical qualification from UK or Ireland
- Full GMC registration (UK) or Irish Medical Council registration
- Completed internship (FY1/FY2 or equivalent intern year in Ireland)
- Relevant and recent postgraduate clinical experience
Specialist Pathway requirements:
· Completion of specialist training (e.g. CCT, CSCST or equivalent)
· Specialist qualification awarded in the UK or Ireland
· Eligible for Specialist Registration with GMC (UK) or IMC (Ireland)

Registrar / Senior Registrar
- AUD $110,000 – $180,000 base
- With penalties, overtime & on-calls: AUD $140,000 – $220,000+ total package
Staff Specialist / Consultant
- AUD $180,000 – $250,000 base
- With additional earnings (on-call, private work, allowances): AUD $220,000 – $400,000+ total package
