Our care home in Thanet, Kent, urgently needs a competent Manager who will be responsible for its leadership, day-to-day operations and quality of service and who can start as soon as possible. Could that be you?
The successful candidate will ensure that all our residents receive a high quality care service in accordance with the CQC regulations. This role is not for the faint-hearted and comes with challenges, as you will have to work on implementing new systems and optimising operations.
Ideally, we are looking for a Registered Manager with a few years’ management experience in a care home setting. But this is also an exciting opportunity for an ambitious senior nurse/deputy to step into a lifelong, rewarding management career.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offering a starting salary of £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing effective leadership and management of the care home
- Ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance (CQC)
- Managing and supporting a multidisciplinary team
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, including staffing, safeguarding, and quality assurance
- Promoting a person-centred, caring environment for residents
Requirements:
- Experience in a managerial role within a care setting
- Relevant health and social care qualifications preferred (e.g. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care)
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
