Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated bricklayer to join our team in a hands-on construction role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various building trades, including masonry, carpentry, roofing, and the use of power tools and hand tools. Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out construction and repair tasks efficiently.
- Perform bricklaying and masonry work with precision to meet project specifications.
- Execute carpentry duties such as framing, fitting, and finishing work.
- Conduct roofing installations and repairs, ensuring durability and weather resistance.
- Carry out welding operations to join metal components securely.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and organisation of work areas.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding or related trades is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to construction tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Good physical fitness with the capacity to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various project requirements.
- Valid relevant qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
