Factory Manager | Permanent
Talent Link Recruitment is working with an established specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products to customers across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Factory Manager to take ownership of day-to-day manufacturing operations and help improve performance, processes and production as the business continues to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, leading people and making practical improvements.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day factory and production operation
- Managing, motivating and developing the production team
- Planning labour, materials, capacity and workflow
- Improving production processes, efficiency and operational controls
- Driving quality, productivity and on-time delivery
- Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety and housekeeping standards
- Reducing waste, rework and production issues
- Working closely with Design, Purchasing, Projects and Installation
- Providing clear production and performance updates to the leadership team
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Factory Manager, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager
- Strong hands-on manufacturing and shop-floor leadership experience
- Experience managing bespoke, made-to-order or varied production
- A track record of improving manufacturing processes and performance
- Strong people-management skills
- Good knowledge of production planning, quality and Health & Safety
- A practical, organised and solution-focused approach
Experience within furniture, upholstery, joinery, seating, interiors or similar manufacturing would be particularly beneficial.

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
