Domestic Cleaner Wanted – Selby & Surrounding Villages
Are you based in or around Selby and looking for friendly, flexible daytime work that fits beautifully around family life? TheseGirlsClean is a well-established, close-knit domestic cleaning team, and we're looking for a couple of reliable cleaners to join us in the Selby area specifically.
We've got work coming up across a few little pockets, so we'd especially love to hear from you if you're near any of these:
- Skipwith & Bubwith
- Church Fenton
- Selby and the surrounding villages
As you'd be travelling between homes, being local to one of these clusters is a real bonus.

What the role involves:
You'll be cleaning private homes to a high standard - kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, hoovering, mopping and those all-important finishing touches. It's honest, hands-on work where you can see the results of a job well done, and where our clients really value and trust you in their homes.
Please note this is a physically active role - you'll be on your feet, bending and moving throughout the day.
This is a self-employed role. Don't worry if that's new to you - we guide you through the simple setup, you invoice us weekly, and you're responsible for your own tax. There's no paid holiday or sick pay, but you'll have steady, reliable hours and a team behind you.
What we're looking for:
- A full UK driving licence AND your own car - this is essential, as you'll travel between clients' homes across the Selby area (please only apply if you drive and have your own vehicle)
- Reliable and trustworthy, with pride in your work
- Available for consistent weekday daytimes, including through the school holidays
- Happy working on your own in clients' homes
- Discreet and respectful - our clients welcome us into their homes and trust matters
- Cleaning experience is a bonus but not essential - the right attitude matters most
- Willing to provide references and undergo a basic DBS check (we cover the DBS)
