In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the hotel, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing repairs across various systems. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of the hotel’s electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to identify potential issues before they impact operations.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure using skills in Plumbing, Electrical work, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems accurately.
- Manage programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automated systems and ensure operational efficiency.
- Supervise maintenance tasks carried out by team members or external contractors, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with professionalism and a customer service-oriented attitude.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical work, mechanical maintenance, plumbing, or related fields within a hospitality or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of schematics and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics clearly to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance team is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication with team members and vendors.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly approach to guest interactions.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
