Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery and Preschool is looking for a caring, nurturing and enthusiastic Baby Room Practitioner to join our team in Waverton, Chester.
We are looking for someone who understands that babies need responsive care, secure relationships and lots of opportunities to explore and develop at their own pace.
About the Role
As a Baby Room Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for our youngest children.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing warm, responsive and nurturing care for babies.
- Building strong, secure relationships with babies and their families.
- Supporting babies' individual routines, including sleep, feeding and personal care.
- Planning and providing age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities.
- Supporting babies' physical, communication, social and emotional development.
- Following each child's individual interests, needs and developmental stage.
- Completing observations and contributing to children's learning journeys.
- Creating a calm, safe and stimulating environment.
- Supporting children's independence and confidence as they develop.
- Working closely with parents and carers to provide continuity between home and nursery.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
About You
An Early Years qualification or relevant childcare experience is essential.
