About the Role:
The role provides support across three services in Gloucestershire and involves a blend of 1:1 support and shared support. Support needs vary between individuals — some require minimal assistance such as help with medication administration, while others need full 1:1 support throughout the day. This includes promoting engagement, developing day‑to‑day living skills, and supporting individuals to participate in meaningful activities.
The primary support needs within these services relate to Mental Health, with additional needs that may include Autism, Learning Disabilities, substance‑related challenges, and mobility difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll provide person‑centred 1:1 and shared support, helping individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and safe medication administration. You’ll encourage engagement in meaningful activities, promote independence and wellbeing, and support people in managing their mental health. The role also includes assisting with household tasks, maintaining a safe environment, and building positive, professional relationships. You’ll follow support plans and safeguarding procedures, work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals, and keep clear, accurate records to contribute to ongoing support planning.
