Duties
- Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts accurately according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and measurements to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of components
- Operate various welding machines and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements
- Skills
- Proven experience in MIG welding, with strong proficiency in welding techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Solid understanding of fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly of metal components
- Mechanical knowledge to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading
- Ability to read CAD drawings
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
