Overview
Here at Bunker We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing excellent service to customers in a lively bar environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer valuable experience within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
- Take orders and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and patrons
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in serving or bartending will be beneficial but can be developed on the job
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic maths skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately
