Education
- Diploma in Dental Nursing (NEBDN Nation Diploma in Dental Nursing) - qualified
Experience
- working in a public facing role
- experience using SOE is an advantage
As a treatment coordinator you will be required to:
- forward treatment plans to patients and address any questions they might have
- follow up on leads and existing treatment plans
- discuss costs, payment plans and facilitate finance
- manage bookings, offer support and reassurance to patients
- Assist the reception desk, if necessary
You may be required to nurse from time to time. You will need to
- prepare the treatment room, the necessary instruments, materials and equipment for a given procedure
- carry out standard decontamination procedures as set-up by the GDC regulations
- Carry out and develop patient X-rays
- Assist with notes taking, if required
Communication with staff, patients and support networks is essential and you must, therefore, be an effective communicator and be very professional at all times.
Hours and Days: Mon 8am-5pm, Tue 8am-5pm, Wed 8am-7pm, Thu 8am-5pm Fri 8am-5pm,. Occassional Saturdays may be required on a rota basis( 8am-2pm)
May require to work at other sites too.
