Overview
As a Warehouse Operative / Counter Sales team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and providing excellent customer service at our counter. Your energetic approach will help maintain efficient stock management, assist customers with their needs, and support the overall flow of goods within our busy warehouse environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on materials handling with engaging customer interactions.
Duties
- Assist customers at the counter by providing product information and processing sales transactions
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
- Manage stock levels through accurate picking, packing, and replenishment activities
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks efficiently, ensuring all goods are correctly documented and stored
- Maintain warehouse safety standards
- Support materials handling tasks including heavy lifting and precise stock placement to optimize storage space
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical skills for counting and stock control
- Picking and packing orders accurately to tight deadlines
- Goods in/out processing and stock replenishment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Physically fit and able to safely handle heavy deliveries
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
