Duties
- Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilization
- Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and managing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient correspondence, and organizing clinical supplies
- Communicate effectively with patients in clear English, addressing their questions and concerns professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for trainees eager to learn
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic IT literacy for handling digital records and appointment systems
- Knowledge of patient care principles within a dental setting is advantageous but not mandatory
- Fluency in English to ensure clear communication with patients and colleagues
