Homecare Matters are looking for kind, dependable people who believe excellent care begins with genuine relationships.
Our approach is warm, respectful and centred around the individual. We take time to get to know each person—what matters to them, the life they have lived, what they can do and how they want to be supported. You will help people remain safe and well while promoting their independence, confidence, choices and connection with their community.
This is more than completing a list of care tasks. You will build trusted relationships and make every visit meaningful. Support may include personal care, medication, meals, mobility, companionship, attending appointments and enjoying activities that matter to the person.
We expect our Care Support Workers to provide consistently high standards of care: listening carefully, respecting dignity, noticing changes, responding to concerns and leaving each person feeling valued.
You do not need to arrive knowing everything. New team members receive a thorough induction, ongoing training and a supportive mentoring programme to help them develop their skills and confidence.
We provide:
- A paid DBS check
- Uniform
- A phone allowance
- A generous mileage allowance
- A structured induction and mentoring programme
- Ongoing training, supervision and support
- The opportunity to do meaningful work and make a genuine difference
We are looking for people who are compassionate, reliable and willing to learn. You must be able to drive and travel between people’s homes, as this is a community-based role.
If you want to provide care that is personal, relationship-centred and focused on helping people live as independently as possible, we would love to hear from you.
Pay: £12.71-£13.95 per hour
