We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Servers to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and have a solid background in Cafe or Restaurant service. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and dietary options
- Upsell additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of service areas before, during, and after shifts
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction
- Follow food safety standards and maintain hygiene protocols at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff as required
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience with serving, upselling, and guest services enhances suitability for this role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
