We are currently looking for Groundworker's who are experienced in basement construction. Must have at least 3 years experience. Excavator ticket and experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excavating and preparing ground for foundations
- Underpinning
- Cut, bend, and fix rebar and mesh to reinforce concrete structures
- Install steel reinforcement in formwork before concrete is poured
- Installation of formwork panels and shuttering
- Pouring concrete - (ready mix by wheelbarrow and pump)
- Installing drainage
- Operating machinery (dumper / excavator) as required
- Working within a small team
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a groundworker
- Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings
- Ability to read and interpret steel drawings
- Operating machinery (dumper / excavator) as required
- Strong work ethic
- Ideally have their own transport
- Have own tools and PPE
