At Vertu BMW Teesside we are currently recruiting for a Used Car Sales Manager to join our team! We are offering a £45,000 basic salary with an OTE of £65,000 plus company car and company benefits! The Role
As Used Car Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading a controlled and compliant sales process throughout. With a strong focus on coaching, motivation and customer experience, you will lead from the front, maintaining hands‑on involvement in sales activity and customer interaction.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, developing and motivating a high‑performing used car sales team
- Driving sales of used vehicles, finance, GAP insurance and associated products
- Managing first and second facing activity to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
- Delivering sales campaigns and promotions to meet volume and profitability targets
- Ensuring all activity is conducted in line with FCA regulations and company standards
- Maintaining the highest levels of customer experience and ethical selling
About You
We’re looking for a proven Sales Manager within the motor industry who can demonstrate strong commercial results through people leadership.
You will have:
- A successful track record in vehicle sales management
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a coaching mindset
- The ability to improve sales performance, profitability and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication, organisation and influencing skills
