An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Children's Home Manager to join a flagship new project in Worcestershire.
We are looking for an ambitious, values-driven Children's Home Manager who wants to do more than simply manage a service. The service has been designed around the needs of children with complex emotional and behavioural needs, creating a safe, nurturing environment where relationships, consistency and therapeutic support are at the heart of the care provided.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take a key leadership role in establishing and developing this flagship service, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and develop a high-quality therapeutic, trauma-informed children's home
- Build and maintain a strong, child-focused team
- Establish a positive culture based around relationships and outcomes
- Work closely with clinical, education and senior leadership teams
- Ensure outstanding standards of safeguarding and care
- Develop the service from the ground up and play a major role in its success
- Build strong relationships with Ofsted, placing authorities and professional networks
- Contribute to the wider development of the organisation
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager with:
Previous experience managing a children's residential service
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
A therapeutic, trauma-informed and child-centred approach
Strong leadership and staff development skills
The ambition and ability to progress beyond a single-service management role
