We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team in a dual-role position combining Warehouse Operations with Finance Support. This role is split 50/50 between hands on warehouse duties and office-based admin responsibilities.
On the warehouse side, the successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth handling and storage of goods within our warehouse. The warehouse is located offsite; the role requires a short drive between our main factory and warehouse location. They will be responsible for offloading delivery vehicles, receiving, picking and delivering raw stock items used on our production lines, ensuring timely and accurate supply to support operations.
In the office, you will support the finance function by assisting with contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse -
· Safely handle, move and store heavy and oversized stock items
· Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in line with safety standards
· Pick, pack and prepare stock orders for dispatch and delivery
· Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
· Maintain accurate stock records using online inventory systems, random spot checks and monthly stock counts
· Perform data entry tasks related to stock movements and inventory updates
· Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised and tidy
· Assist with goods receiving and quality checks as stock comes in
· Work at heights when required (eg. Racking systems)
Office –
· Raise and manage purchase order quotes
· Check supplier statements and indicate discrepancies
· Support accounts payable and receivable processes
· Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial and stock records
· Assist with general administrative tasks within the financial team and requests from other teams within the business
Requirements:
· Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy, oversized or bulky items
· Valid forklift license
· Valid UK drivers license
· Previous warehouse experience
· Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office and stock management systems
· Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records and logs
· Strong attention to detail, particularly with cleanliness and organisation
· Ability to use initiative, work independently and with a team and proactively identify and resolve issues
Desirable skills:
· Manual Handling training (beneficial but not essential)
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Strong time management and organisational abilities
· Ability to work efficiently in a structured and physically active environment with a varied workload
· Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (beneficial but not essential)
