Furniture Fitter / Workshop Joiner
Jensen Bespoke creates high-end fitted furniture for residential projects across London and the surrounding counties. We are a fast-growing, friendly company and are looking for the right person to join our small team.
We are primarily looking for an experienced furniture fitter / installer who is also happy to work in the workshop when there are no installations. The role will be a mix of site fitting and workshop-based manufacturing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to break up the routine of full-time installation work.
The role will be based between our workshop in Waltham Abbey and installation sites in and around London.
You will need a minimum of 3 years’ experience installing high-end fitted furniture and/or kitchens. As most of our installations take place in lived-in residential properties, good presentation, care, communication skills and attention to detail are very important.
This is a full-time salaried position with paid holiday and pension. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
The role will include:
- Installing high-end fitted furniture and kitchens on site
- Working in the workshop when there are no installations
- General manufacturing and assembly tasks
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Working carefully and professionally in clients’ homes
- Travelling to installation sites in and around London
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience fitting high-end furniture and/or kitchens
- A great eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Experience using modern workshop machinery, including panel saws, edge-banders, routers and general hand tools
- CNC experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Full driving licence preferred
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
Applicants must be UK residents.
The right candidate will need to be able to make their own way to North London on installation days, where they will be collected in the company vehicle and travel to the job site. Free parking is available.
