We are recruiting for the position of Sign/Canopy Engineer's Mate, the position is working with a Lead Engineer based in Chatham, Kent but working across the UK. The successful candidate will be required to work away from home often 4 nights per week, accommodation and subsistence is paid. Full training will be provided but any UK PIA, PASMA or IPAF training is a benefit. Candidates would ideally be 21 or over with a Full Driving Licence due to our insurance excesses levied on young drivers. The job will involve assisting the lead engineer with the installation of signage on Petrol Forecourts and Retail Projects, investigating and repairing forecourt canopies and other tasks as necessitated by the needs of the business. The rate exceeds the national minimum wage and overtime is available to increase earnings. The role would suit someone with labouring experience in the construction industry and knowledge of basic tools and equipment, however you will be coached by the lead engineer and the company. Start Date ASAP.
