Join Our Client's Team as a Plater/Welder
Are you skilled in metalwork and passionate about creating high-quality products? We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Plater/Welder to join their team! Your Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld materials effectively.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding with precision and expertise.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with your teammates to solve challenges and improve processes.
- Apply basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in fabrication, sheet metal work, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong welding skills, particularly in MIG welding (essential).
- Solid mechanical knowledge and confidence in using various tools.
- Familiarity with fabrication and assembly techniques (a bonus!).
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
