We have a vacancy in our Mechanical Assembly Department, where the candidate will be tasked with assembling pressure transducers, solenoid valves, valve blocks of various sizes, laminar flow elements, plus a variety of other items produced by our Mechanical Assembly Department.
All of these assemblies work with air pressure.
In-house training will be given on how to assemble and test these parts. Mechanical assembly and soldering experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production process by performing various tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
- Assembly of all products and associated equipment from start to finish, which will also include testing all assembled items.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure product quality and safety and within ISO9001.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Any other duties as required by the Supervisor or Manager.
Experience:
- Soldering ability
- Ability to use basic hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, spanners, soldering iron etc.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and follow instructions or copy sample units.
- Neat and methodical approach to work.
- Mechanical assembly and soldering experience preferred.
- Willing to learn new skills, quick learner and flexible to work in all production areas if required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and drawings accurately.
