Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in supporting the mortgage process by managing documentation, liaising with clients and lenders, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills to facilitate smooth mortgage transactions. Duties
- Manage and process mortgage applications from initial submission through to completion, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, and solicitors to facilitate communication and gather necessary information.
- Prepare and verify financial documents, including income statements, credit reports, and property valuations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence within the company's database.
- Assist in the preparation of mortgage offers, approvals, and related documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor application progress and provide regular updates to clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations throughout the mortgage process.
Requirements
- Previous experience within financial services or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Understanding of mortgage processes and relevant regulations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic maths to accurately calculate figures related to loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment schedules.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail to minimise errors in documentation and data entry.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and external partners.

Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
