About the role
We’re hiring a Junior–Mid Level Growth Operations generalist to help build the processes that let us scale at a fast-growing proxy infrastructure company used by web-scraping, automation, and agentic AI companies worldwide.
We support thousands of customers across 200+ countries, process 15+ billion proxy requests per month, and handle petabytes of data flowing through our network.
We’ve grown bootstrapped to $2M ARR with +318% YoY platform sign-up growth — and we’re just getting started.
Right now, too much of the business runs through the founder. Your job is to change that. This is a general operations role with a slight focus on marketing — some weeks are heavy GTM, others are admin, budgeting, planning, or compliance. You’ll take recurring work off the founder’s plate and own a growing slice of our GTM, from SEO and affiliates to startup programs and funnels. If you’re looking for a pure marketing job, this isn’t it.
This is a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment. We move quickly, ship frequently, and expect you to learn fast, take responsibility, and make decisions without waiting for permission.
You’ll gain hands-on experience across operations, marketing, SEO, analytics, and the processes behind scaling a startup.
What you’ll be doing
- Take operational work off the founder’s plate and build repeatable processes
- Support our content and SEO efforts alongside the content team
- Help manage link-building partnerships and the affiliate program
- Apply to and manage startup programs (cloud credits, perks, directories)
- Help sharpen our ICP and build funnels from first touch to onboarded
- Track marketing analytics and attribution in GA4
- Manage partner outreach and CRM workflows in Attio
- Support people ops, budgeting, and spend tracking
What we’re looking for
Must have
- 1–2 years experience in a marketing, operations, or generalist startup role
- A generalist mindset — happy switching between ops, admin, and marketing in the same week
- Solid understanding of SEO basics (keywords, content, link building)
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable in GA4 and spreadsheets
- Excellent written communication
- Highly organised and process-minded — you enjoy turning chaos into systems
- Comfortable working in-person in Manchester, 5 days per week
- Strong ownership mindset — happy being the first operations hire
Nice to have
- Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, automation, infrastructure)
- Exposure to running or scaling an affiliate program
- Familiarity with Ahrefs or similar SEO tools
- Familiarity with Attio or similar CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Exposure to SOC 2 or compliance frameworks (Vanta, Drata, OneLeet)
- Basic SQL for pulling and analysing data
- People ops or hiring coordination experience
- Willingness to relocate in the future is a plus. We plan to relocate our head office to London within the next few years, and compensation would be reassessed as part of any relocation.
