Property Administrator – Maternity Cover
Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract | Leeds
Who We Are
YourNest is a multi-award-winning sales, lettings and property management company based in Leeds. We offer a fresh, modern approach to property and pride ourselves on delivering a high level of service while maintaining a friendly, supportive working environment.
Our values are centred around:
- Excellent customer service
- Innovation and flexibility
- Equality and respect
- Pride in what we do
- A collaborative and friendly culture
Our modern office also has shower facilities, bike storage and even a bar area with a beer tap — we work hard, but we also believe work should be enjoyable.
About the Role
We are looking for a bright, organised and proactive Property Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
Our current administrator will shortly be going on maternity leave, so we are looking for someone who can join the business, get up to speed quickly and become an important part of the team during her absence.
This is a busy and varied administrative role within a fast-moving lettings and property management environment. You won't simply be sitting behind a desk processing paperwork — you'll work closely with our lettings and property management teams and have regular contact with tenants, landlords, contractors and clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tenancy agreements and associated tenant paperwork
- Processing referencing and tenancy documentation within required timescales
- Preparing and processing landlord paperwork and correspondence
- Maintaining accurate property, landlord and tenant records
- Managing office diaries, appointments, viewings and key handovers
- Assisting with general property and tenancy administration
- Carrying out office and stock checks
- Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors by telephone and email
- Greeting and assisting clients, visitors and contractors
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
What We're Looking For
Essential attributes:
- Previous administrative experience
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confident telephone and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Friendly, professional and approachable manner
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks at once
- Ability to work accurately in a busy environment
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on attitude
- Good general IT skills
Previous experience within lettings, estate agency or property management would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're more interested in finding someone organised, capable and personable who can quickly become part of the team.
Additional desirable skills:
- Experience preparing contracts or other formal documentation
- Experience working with CRM or property management software
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic marketing, social media or property-listing experience
- Full UK driving licence
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Office bonus opportunities
- Full-time working hours
- Fixed-term maternity cover contract
- Company pension
- Use of a company vehicle when required
- Modern, friendly office environment
- Support and training from an experienced team
Although this position is being recruited specifically as maternity cover, YourNest is a growing and evolving business and there may be opportunities to remain within the company in another capacity following completion of the contract. However, applicants should apply on the understanding that this is initially a fixed-term position.
How to Apply
If you're organised, personable and enjoy being at the centre of a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.
Please send us your CV together with a short covering letter explaining why you're interested in the position and when you would be available to start.
If you have any questions before applying, please email us and a member of the team will be happy to give you a call.
