Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hard Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing outdoor landscape features with a focus on durability and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Constructing and installing hard landscape features such as driveways, patios (porcelain & natural stone, concrete) pathways, walls, fences, decking (some composite) and steps using appropriate materials and techniques
- Operating machinery including dumpers and power tools to assist with excavation, levelling, and installation tasks
- Using hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively during all phases of construction and maintenance
- Assisting with site preparation, including soil preparation, grading, and debris removal
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborating with team members to plan project layouts and execute tasks efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, construction or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators and power tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools for landscaping tasks
- Experience in gardening or horticulture will be considered an asset
- Prior experience working on construction sites or outdoor projects demonstrating safety awareness and organisational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of workmanship
