We are currently recruiting for a Service & Small Works Engineer to join a well-established and growing company within the security and safety systems industry.
This is a varied, field-based role where you will be responsible for attending client sites to carry out servicing, small works, and commissioning across a range of systems. The position offers a mix of planned and reactive work, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys a hands-on and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on security & safety systems
- Complete small works and minor installations
- Commission systems to a high standard
- Experience with Gent systems
- Attend reactive call-outs as part of a rota
- Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and client expectations
- Provide excellent customer service while on site
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Additional Benefits
- Call-out rota: £150 standby per week + door-to-door pay for call-outs attended
- Overtime available:
- Monday–Friday (08:00–18:00): Standard rate
- Evenings (18:00–00:00): Time and a half
- Saturdays: Time and a half
- Sundays: Double time
- NEST pension scheme (after 3 months)
- Private healthcare scheme (after 6 months, subject to passing probation)
- Sickness pay at director's discretion
