We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Support & Credit Control Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role where you will take full responsibility for credit control, while also supporting the sales team with quotation follow-up, order processing, and general administration.
The role requires someone who is confident speaking with customers, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for credit control across customer accounts
- Monitor outstanding invoices and proactively chase overdue payments
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payment
- Resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate records of payment status and customer accounts
- Liaise internally with the sales team regarding account status when required
- Follow up and chase quotations with customers to support the sales process
- Prepare and input customer quotations
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide customers with updates on orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide a professional and friendly service at all times
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Ensure customer information and account details are kept up to date
- Support the team with general administrative duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts administration
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Confidence speaking with customers on the phone
- Good IT skills and general computer literacy
- Experience with Sage is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
- A proactive approach and ability to work as part of a small team
Further details:
- Full-time, office-based role - 37 hours a week
- Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (one hour lunch)

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
