We’re a family-run specialty coffee shop in Fulham looking for a reliable, experienced and hardworking Café Assistant to join our morning team.
We’re looking for someone with previous café experience who can work independently, stay organised and help us start each day smoothly.
Working Hours
- Tuesday to Saturday
- 7:00am – 10:00am
- 15 hours per week
- Sundays and Mondays off
The Role
- Arrive early enough to have the café fully set up and ready to welcome customers by 7:00am.
- Prepare and serve coffee, smoothies and other drinks.
- Welcome customers, take orders and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Keep the café clean, organised and well stocked throughout the shift.
- Complete daily opening, cleaning and restocking tasks.
- Work independently and take responsibility for the morning shift.
- Help maintain a smooth and positive service, even during busy periods.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a café is essential.
- Barista experience is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable with early morning starts.
- Able to multitask confidently, stay calm under pressure and manage several tasks at the same time without becoming overwhelmed.
- Organised and attentive, with a good memory for routines and tasks, and able to work without constant reminders.
- Quick to learn and able to follow procedures independently.
- Proactive – able to see what needs to be done rather than waiting to be told.
- Friendly, positive and comfortable communicating with customers.
- Takes pride in cleanliness, organisation and quality of service.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
