Key Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate customised cakes using fondant, icing, and buttercream.
- Create high-quality 3D cakes, including character, vehicle, wedding, birthday, and theme-based designs.
- Prepare celebration cakes, desserts, pastries, cupcakes, and other bakery products.
- Ensure excellent frosting, finishing, and presentation of all products.
- Manage customer orders and complete them within agreed timelines.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation.
- Follow company recipes, production methods, and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a bakery, cake shop, or similar environment.
- Proven experience creating customised fondant or icing cakes.
- Strong cake decorating, frosting, and finishing skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
