The Zip Yard is Britain’s No. 1 clothing alteration business and is now looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to work on Saturday's in our busy Bedford store. Hours will be circa. 8 per week (8.30am-5.00pm) with additional hours being available during holiday cover. You will be responsible for serving customers, entering details of their required alteration on to the internal EPOS system and actioning customer collections. In addition you will be required to allocate work to each seamstress, check the quality of all work to ensure that the highest level of alteration is maintained at all times. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as this is paramount in delivering an exceptional customer service experience. Strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and having an eye for detail are also a prerequisite for the role. Full training will be given. This position would be ideal for someone currently in full-time education.
