As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives while promoting their dignity, choices, and wellbeing. You will work closely with service users, families, and professionals to provide support that is tailored to each individual’s needs.
What You Will Do:
- Provide personalised support that promotes independence, confidence, and wellbeing
- Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care needs where required
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with service users and their families
- Encourage participation in activities, hobbies, and community involvement
- Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals involved in care
- Promote choice, dignity, and respect in everything you do
