We are a modern, forward-thinking GP practice seeking an experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistant to provide excellent patient care and support our expanding nursing team.
We are a friendly and newly refurbished GP practice with over 11,500 patients, and we are growing! We are looking for an experienced, kind, caring and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our Nursing Team.
You will support our clinicians and patients across a range of healthcare activities, helping us deliver high-quality care.
Typical duties include:
- Blood pressure checks and ECGs
- NHS Health Checks
- Simple wound care and suture removal
- Ear irrigation
- Health promotion and lifestyle advice
- Administering B12 injections (under PSD)
- Assisting with IUCD and implant procedures
You will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
Hours: Part-time - 22.50 hours per week
