Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing furniture and fixtures for a variety of projects. Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom cabinets, furniture, and wood components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry with accuracy to meet project specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design plans to ensure precise execution
- Operate a variety of tools including saws, drills, sanders, and clamps safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely delivery of quality work
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to enhance the final appearance
- Assist with site preparation including heavy lifting of materials and ensuring a clean workspace during installation
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of cabinetry or woodwork projects
- Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, carpentry techniques, and joinery methods
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical systems or construction painting is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites or workshop environments
- Prior experience working with construction materials such as wood, MDF, plywood or similar composites
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to woodworking and construction environments
