IMG Studios are searching for a Senior Assistant Producer to assist in producing the European Tour Productions (ETP) World Feed live output, ensuring that it is all produced to the highest editorial and technical specification.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Responsibility (in conjunction with the Producers, Directors, and Executive Producers) for excellence within delivery of the ETP World Feed on time and to agreed specification.
Confident in a range of live gallery roles across Graphics, EVS, and VT, with the ability to Submix Produce (or advanced VT Coord / direct live cameras) where appropriate and capacity to make editorial decisions that shape the narrative of the live programme.
Advanced self-editor, overseeing the overall live VT component to the programming, ensuring narrative consistency and creativity, advising Assistant Producers on creative direction and skills to achieve that. Provide feedback and direction for more junior production staff to help ensure quality and consistency across all output.
Thorough understanding of live Graphics outputs, ensuring smooth operations between internal team and Graphics supplier, focus on continual development of graphics.
Good understanding of technical workflows from cameras, vision, audio, to fibre – taking responsibility across technical issues as they arise, knowing when and how to escalate problems.
Demonstrate the highest standards of production, showing creative flair, technical expertise and strong editorial judgment – understanding of how to shape editorial direction through Submix Producer position and other roles, supporting cohesive story development.
Commercial awareness around the importance of signage within vision, taking ownership of the commercial obligations week-to-week.
Support the management of production budgets, understanding the significance of spec, course, and territory impacts on costs. Understands the priorities of clients to display creativity despite financial constraints.
To lead on H&S responsibilities in certain environments, understanding the importance of implementation of risk measures and production planning/paperwork to prepare accordingly.
Helps to lead the team within the live environment, fostering positive working dynamics. Champions opportunities to contribute to review discussions within the team, being an active and thoughtful participant, to consistently manage and meet client expectations throughout the creative and production process.
Mentor for APs, sharing responsibility for wellbeing of team members when part of Production team on-site.
Commitment to innovation and a consideration for how this can be adopted in live workflows. Active contributor to new ideas for developments or efficiencies, collaborating with production staff and freelancers to hone these.

Knowledge and Experience
Proven experience in a live gallery environment, as a Live Sports Assistant Producer or Senior AP, working on live OBs to a high standard, in the UK and internationally.
A strong understanding and proven experience of working in live broadcast.
Deep and up-to-date subject knowledge, allowing for informed and well-researched VT and storyline developments and to determine key narratives as they emerge.
Excellent ability to craft narratives, write scripts and create running orders for live sport programmes.
Experience of defining the editorial content and direction of a programme.
Experience of dealing with international broadcasters, independent production companies, key stakeholders, external third parties and high profile talent.
Experience in high-pressure, quick-turnaround production environments.

Working Conditions
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role
This role will be based at our office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
You will also be required to regularly travel internationally, work weekends, some evenings, and unsocial hours as required
