We are currently looking for a Senior Health,Safety & Wellbeing Manager (Data Centres) who will provide strategic support to the MEP and Facilities Management sector leadership teams. They will lead and develop the MEP and Facilities Management Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) teams. Ensure continuous improvement in HSW standard and Skanska values.
As the Senior Health Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will:

Support the implementation of the HSW Business Plan and OU HSW strategy.

Lead on the development and implementation of the HSW sector strategy.

Lead on HSW tender submissions, coordinating responses via tender completion from the wider HSW team.

Collaborate to ensure best practise is made known and implemented.

Attend and support relevant industry groups as required.

Enure all relevant industry and sector accrediations and certifications are maintained.

Lead and develop the MEP Project teams, acting as a role model and provide technical advice and mentorship to other HSW team members.
We are looking for:
-
Line manager experience, with a particular focus on leading leaders.

Level 5 academically recognised qualification or above (i.e. Diploma/Degree/NVQ) relating to Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards.
-
In depth understanding of the principles of Health, Safety and Wellbeing including a good understanding of effective management techniques.

Ability to influence others across a range of levels from the front-line workforce to Director level, both internally and externally.

Experience in the development and implementation of Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategies.
