Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Multi-disciplinary Maker. You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with assisting in the manufacture of various architectural and artistic elements. This includes interpreting design drawings, selecting materials, cutting, shaping, and assembling components, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final product. You will work closely with the design team and fabricators to bring projects to life.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication and working with various materials such as metal, wood, and acrylic
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting design drawings and specifications
- Strong technical skills in cutting, shaping, and assembling components
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Experience with welding, CNC machining, or other fabrication techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of design principles and understanding of architectural and artistic concepts
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- CSCS, PASMA and/or IPAF would be a plus.
The role starts at £30,000 per annum depending on experience, and is negotiable after a 3 month trial period.
