Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at our brand-new breakfast and brunch café opening on Oxford Road, Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new opening from day one. Whether you're already experienced in breakfast service or looking to develop your skills, full training will be provided. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality food and wants to be part of a supportive team.
Our kitchen is built around teamwork, consistency and a positive working environment where everyone supports each other. If you have a great attitude and enjoy cooking fresh food, we'd love to hear from you.
Working Hours
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Daytime shifts only, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Great work-life balance with no late nights
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook our breakfast and brunch menu to a consistently high standard
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and food safety standards
- Set up and close the kitchen for service
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Follow recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and kitchen organisation
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and well organised
- Work closely with the team to deliver an excellent customer experience
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook
- Passion for fresh food and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn
- Right to work in the UK
