The role will consist of the following tasks / responsibilities:
Hold a valid HGV driving licence and current CPC card
Alternate Saturday cover (tacho download, match tractor / trailer for Monday runs, prepare driver folders for Monday etc etc)
Book service in line with maintenance schedules.
Vehicles to and from Hexagon for service / repair.
Routine vehicle checks.
Process tacho infringements and brief drivers accordingly.
Nominated driver trainer – pre-employment assessments / induction / long trailer etc.
Holiday cover for Traffic Manager
Route cover in the event of driver no show etc
Rotate on call.
Rotate lates / earlies to ensue end to end cover within the office.
Other tasks as directed by Traffic Manager.
Pay: £15.91-£17.51 per hour
