Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to industry standards. The role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in agricultural and industrial areas.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment within agricultural, industrial and educational settings.
- Carry out testing and condition reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
- Be able to respond to time sensitive jobs.
Skills
- level 3 and NVQ with city and guilds or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical control systems. (Not essential but preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate willing to learn.
- City and guilds 2391 is preferred but not essential. (Training can be given)

At Lilley Electrical we base most of our work around Agriculture, horticulture, industrial and educational sectors. We have been established for over 15 years and maintain a high standard of work within a close nit team. We strive for quality of work and comfort of doing so.
The ideal candidate will have had some previous experience within these sectors. A company van is provided along with fuel card. We also have a staff health and life insurance policy. These are tailored around the employee. Continued training is given to all employees. A full work wear will be issued along with specialist tools.

Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
