Job Summary
A small niche Insurance Broker in the City is looking for a bright and an efficient Full-time Insurance Administrator who is willing to take on a role within the International Department.
Responsibilities
The team requires assistance on dealing with risks such as:
Sending emails to clients
Analysing and submitting risks
Calculating the premiums to check if it is economical and correct and working within the team to discuss market calculations
Invoicing into Applied TAM – processing premiums when business is placed
Credit control – chasing clients for payment of insurance premiums and ensure premium is paid within premium payment warranty (PPW)
Ensure all supporting documents (e.g. claims history, proposal forms, survey reports) are included in submissions.
Prepare the initial slips with all the required documents and submit it to the markets
Communicate with insurers regarding missing quotes or clarification requests.
File and scan insurance documents (invoices, endorsements, claims).
Track deadlines (renewals, premium payments, documentation).
Update trackers for new business, claims, and client follow-ups.
Monitor inboxes for market responses and triage them accordingly.
Handle general correspondence with clients, insurers, and underwriters.
Maintain document control for policy schedules, TOBAs,KYC etc.
Draft invoices (renewals, cancellations).
Help with insurer payment runs and matching remittance advice.
Dealing with LDI certificates.
Respond promptly to emails and phone queries.
Prioritize urgent policy or claims issues.
Keep systems up to date with accurate and timely data.
The ideal candidate must:
Have insurance knowledge background - Preferred.
Be computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Preferred
Have previous Admin experience
Be fluent in English
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be able to handle multiple tasks and under pressure
Be able to manage general operation of confidential documents.

Willing to learn new skills and knowledge
the job is for 3 days a week with a possibility to move to full time
Pay: £11,000.00-£16,500.00 per year
