Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Cleaner to join our existing team in supporting operations by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across a commercial premise. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, tidy and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial experience and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
The role is Tuesday & Thursday 17:30 - 21:30.
You will also be required to cover staff holidays & sickness.
Responsibilities
* Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of floors and surfaces*
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and in good condition
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management
* Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises
Requirements
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable
* Strong attention to detail with commitment to high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
* Good organisational skills and reliability
* Physical fitness to preform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety regulations
