Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care, following project specifications and safety standards
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and scaffolding to complete decorating tasks efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and desired outcomes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Conduct inspections during and after completion to ensure high standards of workmanship are met
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress, challenges, or adjustments needed during projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to operate driving vehicles safely to access various work sites as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear coordination with team members and clients
- Knowledge of different painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation methods
- Strong physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, lift materials, and work in various environments for extended periods
- Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate transportation between multiple job sites
- Good understanding of safety protocols relevant to construction painting environments
