Cleaner/care assistant required for Casual Work in Lancaster @ £13.25 per hour in a private household for staff without a car. Or £14.00 per hour for car owners. Plus 55p per mile if car owner for trips during work hours.
Business insurance will be required for car owners once you have been offered the role.
Previous experience in cleaning is not a requirement, though may be beneficial.

This job is one to one, you will only have one client. The client is fully vaccinated and has regular Covid-19 testing. You will be cleaning for an adult woman who is aged 30s to 40s and has varied interests, including the arts, scifi, literature, music, animals, psychology and theatre amongst other things.
Job role:
Assisting a person who has a physical disability cleaning their home for them.
Household tasks, eg cleaning, tidying, filing, organising cupboards, doing laundry & washing up.
Help with some care needs eg dressing, showering, assisting with mobility if you're comfortable doing that. Previous experience in care work is not a requirement.
Vegetarian cooking.

- Applicants should be friendly, caring, calm, patient and easy going at work. The person you will be assisting specifically wants someone who is easy to get along with and who doesn't mind following specific instructions, who's adaptable, flexible and good at paying attention details.
- Physically fit enough to do household cleaning jobs.

- Experience doing cleaning.
- Experience helping out a person with disabilities formally or informally.
You may dress in casual comfortable clothes for work. You will be required to keep your nails short and no false nails at work for hygiene reasons.
You will be required to wear a mask at work which will be provided as the client is immune impaired.
