Hendra Holiday Park is a family-run, five-star, multi-award-winning destination in beautiful Newquay, Cornwall. We're proud to offer memorable holiday experiences for our guests and are now looking for Qualified Lifeguards to join our friendly, dedicated team.
Our Oasis Swimming Pool Complex is one of the largest and most exciting fun pools in the Southwest, supported by a team of over 30 lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every guest, all within a supportive and vibrant work environment. At Hendra Holiday Park, we offer both an Outdoor Pool and a popular Indoor Pool featuring water slides, water features, and a rapid pool. We are seeking friendly individuals who thrive in a customer-facing role and work well as part of a large team. This position requires a strong focus on guest safety, strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and a genuine passion for delivering a fun, memorable, and consistently 5-star experience for all visitors.
The Role
You’ll be working across our Indoor Fun Pool, complete with water features, slides, and our river rapids pool, and our Outdoor Pool which is popular in the summer months.
Your primary responsibility will be maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all guests. Monitoring pool activity and enforcing safety rules. Responding to emergencies swiftly and professionally. Upholding hygiene and cleanliness standards. Delivering exceptional guest service
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for reliable, friendly, and proactive individuals who:
- Someone who holds a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
- Are confident swimmers with strong observational skills
- Enjoy working in a team-focused, fast-paced environment
- Take pride in ensuring safety and creating memorable experiences
