Duties
- Offer personalized support to children and young people, fostering their emotional well-being and social development
- Assist with daily activities, including homework help, recreational activities, and skill-building exercises
- Mentor and motivate individuals through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
- Collaborate with team members to develop tailored care plans that meet each child's unique needs
- Support teaching staff by implementing educational activities and encouraging active participation
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to supervisors regarding individual development
- Ensure a safe, welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people in a caregiving or educational setting is highly desirable
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire confidence and independence
- Knowledge of teaching methods and educational activities suitable for diverse age groups
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an empathetic approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Relevant certifications or training in child care or support work are advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
