Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team.
Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 3.00pm, with flexible working hours. Race weekends are a must!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and clients alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable,. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and private spaces according to established standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all surfaces are spotless
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties as required such as ironing.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude are essential
