We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Cementation OU, based in Doncaster.
As the Senior Project Engineer, you will:

Have Engineering oversight, ensuring design and quality compliance and evaluate ground conditions.

Management of section of works/package and report compliance and progress to the Project Manager/Operations Manager.

Work with Construction Supervisor to ensure safe working is planned and executed.

Complete PCA daily and Disruption tracker/Daily reports and complete project diamond review daily productivity at project level ahead of Operations Director Weekly PCA review.

Lead and contribute for the weekly short-term planning, agreeing works sequencing with the Construction Supervisor to meet programme key dates.

Understand the contract & tender and assist in contract administration.

Produce compliant handover packages.
We are looking for:
-
Understanding of civil engineering principles and technical knowledge of construction best practice.

Working knowledge of NEC form of contract.

Experience in working towards a Highways Standards Specification (Highways or Nuclear Specs).

Experience in checking complex reinforcement cages with main bar diameters up 50 mm and couplers, including quality control/compliance in testing torque wrench (eccentricity tests).

Knowledge and experience in managing support fluid, including quality plans specific to complex project ground conditions (maritime environments, artesian water and high ground water table)

Knowledge and experience in pile shaft inspections or Diaphragm Wall panels inspections prior concreting, utilising sonic calliper or Koden systems.

Relevant CSCS Card.
