The Opportunity
Zenith Freight is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our team in Haydock. This role is as simple as it sounds — just drive. No loading, no unloading, and no navigating busy city streets. You’ll be running depot-to-depot, swapping trailers, and following pre-planned routes.
Expect steady, reliable work with overnight stays in fully equipped, well-kept sleeper cabs. Your shifts are managed entirely via smartphone, so there’s no need for paperwork or planning on your part.

Shifts & Hours
- Sunday to Thursday
- Overnight tramping in comfortable sleeper units
- Flexible start times to suit you
- Overtime available if desired
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- At least 12 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
- CPC and digital tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 points (no DD, DR, IN)
- Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol checks
- Willingness to stay out overnight
- Basic English for safety and communication
